Which Package Do I Choose?

Option 1: Basic Tracking Plan
The basic tracking plan is perfect for assets like caravans, boats, jetski's, etc.
​
On this plan the unit will report in the current location every 3 hours, which stretches the battery life to 3 years on the smaller units and 10 years on the bigger units.
​
In the event of theft the FleetLogix helpdesk can put the unit in to "Recovery Mode", which will change the settings on the device to start reporting in every 60 seconds until recovery mode is either turned off, or the batteries run flat.
You can however create Geo-fences and set up entry or exit alerts.
Option 2: advanced Tracking Plan
The advanced tracking plan is perfect for assets like excavators, bobcats, trailers as well as vehicles that are frequently on the move.

On this plan the units send a position update every 15 minutes whilst on the move, but you can also record hours of operation on items like generators or pumps through the vibration sensor.
​
The trips are recorded and you can run reports on historic journeys / trips.
​
The battery life is reduced on this plan, because the unit is sending data more frequently, but you should still get roughly 3 years battery life on the larger units and 18 - 24 months on the smaller units.

The "snail trail" is separated by location pings every 15 minutes. In most cases this is sufficient, but if not you can opt for the advanced plan instead.
This plan also allows you to create Geo-fences and set up entry or exit alerts, via SMS, E-Mail and app alerts.
Option 3: business Tracking Plan
The business tracking plan is perfect for assets like truck trailers, where you need to monitor the movement in close to real time, but there is no power source. They can also be used on any other type of asset where live tracking and accurate odometer and hour meter readings are critical.

On this plan the units send a position update every 5 minutes whilst on the move, but you can also record hours of operation on items like generators or pumps through the vibration sensor.
​
The trips are recorded and you can run reports on historic journeys / trips.
​
The battery life is reduced on this plan, because the unit is sending data more frequently, but you should still get roughly 2 years battery life on the larger units and 12 months on the smaller units.
